ABOUT THIS DEGREE PROGRAM
The Master of Science in Accounting program is
designed for individuals with an undergraduate
specialization in accounting or finance who wish
to advance their education. Specifically, the
program can benefit students preparing for the
CPA exam and licensed CPAs seeking a credential
that may enable them to teach accounting in highe
education institutions.
The MSAC program requires successful completion
of 30 semester-credit hours. The program
includes elective courses that provide flexibility in
customizing the program to meet professional and
personal goals. Total program length varies based on
the number of courses taken per eightweek session.

Preparing students to apply current accounting
theory and practice in a wide range of occupations.

required to pursue professional licensure.

voluntary specialized accounting accreditation from the
Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP,
