the
numbers
next

a
stairwell
that
leads
to
apartment

located
on
the
second
floor
of
the
building
in
the
northeast
comer
of
the
building.

hours
your
Affiant
and
Officer^

the
Lincoln
Police
Department
were
dispatched
to
3147
North
Hill
Rd
#207,
Lincoln,
Lancaster
County,
Nebraska
on
a
stabbing
call
for
service.
Upon
your
Affiant
’
s
arrival
a
male
yelling
could
be
heard
from
the
second
floor
of
the
building.
Your
Affiant
contacted
the
residents
inside
#207.
Megan
K
Garrow,
06
26-1993,
was
contacted
at
the
door.
Shortly
after
this
Megan
informed
your
Affiant
that
Brice
O
Berry,
10-03-1988,
was
stabbed.
Brice
then
came
to
the
door
holding
his
midsection.
Your
Affiant
observed
one
puncture
wound
to
Brice
’
s
abdominal
area.
During
a
safety
sweep
of
3147
North
Hill
Rd
#207
your
Affiant
observed
blood
evidence
on
the
kitchen
floor
and
on
the
stove.
There
were
blood
drops
on
the
floor,
and
some
of
the
blood
was
smeared
on
the
floor.
There
was
also
a
knife
with
a
black
handle
and
silver
blade
on
the
floor
near
the
kitchen
table
just
outside
of
the
kitchen.
There
was
also
a
clear
plastic
bag
which
contained
a
substance
believed
to
be
marijuana
on
the
kitchen
table.
The
suspect,
Brittany
A
Borrell
11-13-1985,
was
located
in
a
vehicle
outside
the
residence.
She
was
placed
into
custody
as
Megan
and
Brice
both
made
statements
of
her
being
the
person
responsible
for
the
stabbing.

A
violent
crime
has
just
occurred
and
the
blood
evidence
observed

the
protective
sweep
can
dissipate
or
dry
with
time.
This
delay
may
prohibit
law
enforcement
from
determining
where
in
the
apartment
the
stabbing
took
place.
Further,
there
are
occupants
of
the
apartment
who
have
not
been
arrested
and
if
they
are
allowed
into
the
apartment
they
could
tamper
with
or
remove
evidence.
