The Offer is valid on bookings done on all Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, during the period
3 May 2024 - 30 June 2024 (between 0:000 hrs to 23:59 hrs).
•
The offer is valid for bookings made on MakeMyTrip website, Mobile site, Android & iOS App.
•
The offer is valid on HSBC Bank Credit Cards.
•
The offer is valid for 1 booking per card per category per Month throughout the offer period.
What else do you need to know?
FLIGHTS
•
For flights, discount will be calculated on the booking amount (excluding convenience fee and any
ancillaries purchased e.g.: meals, insurance).
•
The offer is not valid on "Multi-City Flights" made through the "Multi-City" tab on MakeMyTrip
website.
•
Offer is not applicable on payments made through My Wallet (MakeMyTrip Wallet - bonus amount),

•
The offer is valid on select properties.
•

CONDITIONS IN CASE OF CANCELLATION
•
In case of partial/full cancellation the offer stands void and customer will not be eligible for the
discount.
•
If the Customer cancels the travel service purchase after the discount amount is availed,
MakeMyTrip will deduct the discount amount from the refund and cancellation charges shall apply.
•
If there is any rescheduling or cancellation, customer has to bear the fare difference (regardless of
whether the component is in the base fare or in tax + surcharge) and other rescheduling/cancellation
fees.

How do you get it?

What else do you need to know?

The offer is valid only on EMI bookings done using HSBC Credit Cards.
•
For Flights, Instant discount will be calculated on the booking amount (excluding convenience fee

•

•
In case there is more than one offer available simultaneously from a Bank, no two offers can be
combined by the customer.

What is Additional Savings on EMI?
•
In Additional Savings on EMI, monthly instalment = Total product price / EMI tenure in months.
•
EMI Processing fee levied by bank is not covered under Additional Savings on EMI Cashback offer.
Processing fees is charged separately by the bank along with first EMI instalment as a one time
charge.
•
The cashback amount shall be equal to the total interest amount payable on the EMI. Any GST
levied on interest amount is not covered under the Additional Savings on EMI cashback offer.
•
For e.g:
1. You pay ₹30,000 for your ticket using Additional Savings on for 3 months, your card will be
blocked for ₹30,000 at MakeMyTrip.
2. Your bank will convert this to EMI within 4-7 days.
3. Cashback equal to the 3 months interest amount (₹753) will be credited within 21 days to card.
This reduces a loan of ₹30,753 (principal + interest) to a loan of ₹30,000
4. You will be charged GST of ₹135.54 applicable on interest amount of ₹753 by the bank. The total
cost to the cardholder would be ₹30,135.54 (Ticket price+ GST).
•
The discount under Additional Savings on credit card payment option is being offered exclusively by
MMT and does not amount to EMI/interest waiver extended by the bank.
•
Cardholder will need to pay applicable EMI and interest on total value of the order at the time of
payment to the HSBC Credit Card in accordance with the terms applicable to the credit card.
•
Cardholder will have to pay applicable Bank convenience fee for EMI transactions.
Conditions in case of cancellation
•
In case of full/partial cancellation the offer stands void and customer will not be eligible for the offer.
•
The Customer shall not be entitled to discount in the event of cancellation of booking. Makemytrip
will refund the purchase price after deducting the discount amount and any other applicable
cancellation charges/penalty.
General terms and conditions
1. The Offer is brought to you by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, India
(’HSBC’) and MakeMyTrip (India) Private Limited (’MakeMyTrip’), and any participation in the said
Offer is voluntary.
2. During the Offer Period Cardholders can avail the Offer using their valid HSBC Credit Card.
3. This Offer is applicable to existing and new resident HSBC Cardholders, excluding corporate
cardholders (hereinafter referred to as 'Cardholders').
4. Credit Cardholders who have not repaid their minimum payment due within 30 days of their
payment due date as mentioned on the credit card statement, will not be eligible for the Offer.
5. Add-on Credit Cardholders will be separately and additionally eligible for the Offer.
6. Transactions where payment (partial or full) is made using any other mode of payment (other bank
cards or e-wallet options) will not be eligible for the Offer. Transactions where payments are made
with HSBC Cards using any e-wallet will not be eligible for the Offer.
7. Offer will not apply on select hotels, please check offer applicability on MakeMyTrip before making
final purchase.
8. Customers who are Travel Agents by occupation, are barred from making bookings for their
customer’s and MakeMyTrip reserves the right to deny the Offer against such bookings or to cancel
such bookings. For such cases, MakeMyTrip shall not refund the booking amount.
9. In the event of any misuse or abuse of the Offer by the customer or travel agent, MakeMyTrip
reserves the right to deny the Offer or cancel the booking.
10. The Offer is not valid on net banking, commercial and Corporate Cards issued by HSBC.
11. Terms and Conditions of MakeMyTrip would apply with respect to cancellation of orders, refund
and rebooking. For more details visit the concerned MakeMyTrip website/mobile application for
more details. This Offer is subject to the Terms and Conditions of MakeMyTrip as well, and
Cardholders are required to refer to, read, understand, accept and agree to be bound by them.
12. Offer not applicable on B2C - Corporate travel bookings on ‘myBiz’ Business Travel Solution of
MakeMyTrip.
13. In case of full cancellation, the Offer stands void and the customer will not be eligible for the
discount.
14. The customer shall not be entitled to discounts in the event of cancellation of booking. MakeMyTrip
will refund the purchase price after deducting the discount amount and any other applicable
cancellation charges/penalty.
15. All decisions with respect to the Offer shall be at the sole discretion of HSBC and the same shall be
final, binding and non-contestable. Other than the specific entitlements available to the Cardholder
under the Offer, any other claims with regards to the Offer against HSBC are deemed waived.
16. HSBC does not make any warranties or representation about the quality, merchantability, suitability
or availability of the services Offered under this Offer. Any dispute regarding these must be
addressed in writing, by the customer, directly with MakeMyTrip.
17. HSBC will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage whatsoever that may be su ered,
as a result of participating in the Offer.
18. Prior to availing the Offer by making any purchases on MakeMyTrip website and/or mobile
application, the Cardholder should refer, read, understand, accept and agree to the user
agreement and Terms and Conditions of the said website and mobile application, and proceed only
if the Cardholder agrees to abide by the same. The Cardholder might be required to give personal
information and other details online. The Cardholder should read and understand the privacy policy
of the website and mobile application, prior to providing any such information. Any disclosure of
information made by the Cardholder towards availing of or fulfilment of the Offer is at the sole
discretion of the Cardholder and HSBC will not be responsible for the same. Merchants may use
the personal information shared by the customer for any other purpose (like marketing, etc.) and
HSBC shall not be held liable for such usage of personal information.
19. Appropriate discount will be applied only on using valid Cards on purchases made on
MakeMyTrip's e-commerce website the mobile website or mobile application during the promotion
period for the minimum Net Transaction Value as per the Offer.
20. The Net Transaction Value is the total purchase value arrived at before availing discount under this
Offer only on the base fare. The Cardholders are advised to check the applicability of the discount
before making the payment.
21. HSBC and/or MakeMyTrip reserve the right to cancel an order in case of any fraudulent activity
including creating duplicate accounts, aliasing, placing multiple orders or violating the Terms and
Conditions. Upon cancellation, the order will not be reinstated. HSBC shall not be liable for any
refunds or compensation in case of said cancellations by MakeMyTrip.
22. The discount amount offered will not be settled in cash under any circumstances whatsoever.
23. The Offer will only be applicable on transactions where appropriate and valid promo code has been
applied by the Cardholder before executing/making the payment.
24. Any defects, deficiency, claims, issues, damages or losses arising with respect to the
product/services shall be the sole responsibility and liability of the manufacturer/seller or the
service provider and HSBC will not be responsible for the same.
25. Any query regarding the Offer will be entertained during the Offer Period only. If the customer
doesn't receive the discount, he/she must raise the claim at within 3 months from the booking date.
In the event the Cardholder fails to do so, he/she will not be eligible for the discount amount.
26. In case of complete cancellation of the order by the Cardholder, the transaction will not qualify for
the Offer. In case of partial cancellation of the order, the Cardholder shall qualify for the Offer only
on the basis of the net amount payable.
27. The Offer is valid in India for adults of a sound mind only.
28. This Offer shall be subjected to all applicable central/or state laws, rules and regulations.
29. This document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the
rules there under as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in
various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000. This electronic record is
generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.
30. HSBC and MakeMyTrip reserve the right to add, alter, modify, change or vary all or any of these
Terms and Conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this Offer with another, whether similar to this
Offer or not, or to withdraw it completely at any point in time at its sole discretion. The Offer
may/may not be extended as mutually agreed by HSBC and MakeMyTrip.
31. Usage of the card is governed by applicable Terms and Conditions. Please visit

32. HSBC reserves the sole right to decide on whether a purchase meets the eligibility criteria listed
above.
33. The Offer is subject to force majeure events.
34. Tax liability, if any, will have to be borne by the Cardholder.
35. Please note that basis the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations and notified GST rates,
Central GST and State/Union Territory GST or Inter-state GST, will be levied on the discounted
price, as applicable.
36. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Card shall be subject to the exclusive
jurisdiction of courts at Mumbai only. The existence of any dispute shall not, by itself, constitute any
claim against HSBC.
37. By participating in the Offer, Cardholders are assumed to have accepted all the aforementioned
Terms and Conditions in their totality.
