Applicants applying to any OHSU School of Medicine graduate program who are
economically disadvantaged, have extenua
ting circumstances and/or participated in a
qualifying program (see list below) are eligible to request an application fee waiver.
Graduate Studies provides a limited number of application fee waivers each academic
year and these waivers are granted based on funding availability and are not guaranteed.
Please note that fee waiver requests should be submitted at least 5 business days prior
to your program’s application deadline. Applicantsmust requestawaiverbycontacting
[email protected]dubeforesubmittingtheirapplication.The Graduate Studies office will
review all application fee waiver requests and notify those applicants that are granted a
waiver.

• Current School of Medicine Grad Students or MD students enrolled in eligible
SoM programs
• Similar conferences or specific program activities
PROCESS:

feewaiver
requestwiththeapplicantname,CASID#,andreasonat least 5 days before the
applicationissubmitted.GraduateStudiesreviewrequests,andinformsapplicantof
thedecision.
For those approved for a waiver, GraduateStudieswill provide the applicantwith a
couponcodetoenterwhentheyarereadytosubmit their application. Onlyonefee
waivercanbeappliedfor eachapplicant.
