SMS
The Premier SMS app allows you to send and receive text messages from your
Vonage business phone line. The app is available for both smartphones, iPads
and desktops. The app integrates with your local contacts on smartphones.
Getting Started
This section contains the essential information for getting started
with the Premier SMS app.
System Requirements
iPhone and iPads – iOS 9 or higher
Android – 4.4 (Kitakat or higher)
Chrome and Firefox are the only supported web browsers
for MAC and Windows.
The app is only available for Premier customers on the
West and Central platforms.
The East platform will be added later in 2017.
Installation
Smartphones
1. Go to the app store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
2. Search for Vonage Premier SMS.
3. Download and open the app.
4. Enter your Vonage Business user credentials and then tap Login.
Web Browser
The desktop app can be reached at the following link: https://premiersms.vonage.com

Sign In
Enter your Vonage phone number and Vonage provided password. Click on the forgot password link and you will be
redirected to the customer portal to reset your password.
Messaging on the Smartphone App
Send a Text Message
From contacts, type in the contact
name you are looking for, choose the
number you want to text, tap send
message, type your message, tap the
send icon.
From conversations, tap the message
button type a contact name or phone
number. If the phone number is
not in your contacts, click on start
conversation. Type your message
and tap the send icon.

Send a text Message to Multiple Contacts or Numbers
From conversations, tap the group icon, type a contact name or phone
number, continue adding phone numbers and/or contacts, tap the create
button, type your message and tap send.
Note: If you send a message to multiple contacts when they reply it will be in
a separate thread
Adding a Contact
From contacts, type the phone number, tap the contact icon, ll out the
contact info and hit the create button.
From conversations, tap the contact icon, ll out the contact info and tap
the create button.
Newly added contacts will be synced with local contacts on your cell
phone.
Delete a Conversation or Message
From conversations, click on the conversation you want to delete swipe
right, tap delete.
Once you are in a conversation with a contact you can delete individual
messages by clicking on the message and tap on delete.
Messaging on the Desktop App
When you rst log in to the desktop app it will ask you if you want to show notications. Click allow.

Send a Text Message
Click on the message icon and type in a phone number to send a message.
Type your message, press enter to send.
You can also click on an existing conversation, type a message, press enter to send.
Note: Contacts need to be added from the mobile app
Send a Text Message to Multiple Contacts or Numbers
From messages, tap the group icon, type a contact name or phone number press enter, continue adding phone
numbers and/or contacts press enter, tap the green arrow button, type your message and tap send.
Note: If you send a message to multiple contacts when they reply it will be in a separate thread
Delete Conversations
Hover over a conversation, click on the trash can icon to delete the conversation.
Individual messages can also be deleted by clicking on a conversation then hove over the message to delete and
click the trash can to delete the message.
Settings
The settings tab shows your prole info including your name, phone number, and a help section.
Sign Out
To sign out of the desktop app click the sign out button.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can I see emoticons on the desktop app?
Yes, please note some emoticons may not be available.
2. Can I send documents to my contacts from the SMS app?
No, you cannot send documents at this time.
3. How do I open a web link from the app?
You will need to copy and paste the web link into a web browser in order to open it.
4. Are multi-media messages including GIFs supported?
No, MMS are not supported at this time.
5. Can I log into the same account on the desktop app with multiple computers?
Yes, on the desktop app only. Note that notications are best effort when multiple users are logged in.
